CB&A Recognized as Top Small Business

Despite our travels around the country, Madison is our home. We bike its trails, indulge in brats and cheese curds, enthusiastically cheer for the University of Wisconsin Badgers and now – we’re being recognized as one of Dane County’s top small businesses.DaneCoSmallBusiness2015ArtPMS485

As one of 10 enterprises receiving the Dane County Small Business Award, we credit our success to the supportive workplace culture that encourages us all to be involved in our local community. Whether ringing bells for the Salvation Army, reading to students during Read Across America or promoting United Way’s Second Harvest campaign, we take pride in making our community better.

As company founder and CEO, Charlene Blohm, explains, “Each employee at CB&A is dedicated to helping others, a commitment that carries over from our professional lives to our everyday life away from the office.”

It’s not everyday though that we’re honored with a small business award. Especially a program that’s in its 33rd year that recognizes businesses that maintain a responsible, rewarding workplace environment and make significant contributions to their community.

For more than two decades, CB&A has worked to raise the visibility of national and international education companies, and more recently, special needs firms. Accolades such as the Dane County Small Business Award affirm that our work is making a difference not only in the lives of students, but also in the lives of the children and community members we support through our communications and volunteer efforts. Thank you to the Wisconsin School of Business’ Small Business Development Center for recognizing our contributions.

In return, how is your organization giving back to the community?
