We’re lucky to meet and work with inspiring educators on a regular basis. They give it to us straight: They tell us what’s working, what’s challenging them and how companies can better serve them.
Our idea behind Trending Now, an educator-led roundtable discussion on timely education topics, was to amplify the voice of these practitioners. This year’s panelists discussed makerspaces, coding in elementary education, professional learning and funding sources. The fast-moving conversation emphasized the importance of educators’ perspective on education technology implementation in the classroom, and it reiterated the value of diverse backgrounds when discussing education issues.

LaShona Dickerson, Director of Technology, Lafayette Parish School System, Louisiana
