Don’t Be Listless at the Grocery Store – or ISTE

By June 2, 2017August 19th, 2019No Comments
CB&A is an education pr agency.

Maximize your time at ISTE with the right education pr strategy. When I go grocery shopping without a list, it’s a mess. My cart fills up with things like Doritos, and I leave the store wondering how I’ll possibly cobble together a sensible dinner. Shopping can be unproductive and needlessly costly if you don’t have a plan. ISTE is similar if you dont’ have an education PR plan ready.

You need to land in San Antonio with a proverbial grocery list – a clear sense of your goals and how to accomplish them. It’s not enough to simply attend, go through the motions and hope for the best. ISTE is a significant investment of time, energy and money – maximize your return.

ISTE is unique in that it’s the only major ed tech industry event that overlaps two sales cycles. Because it falls at the very end of the school year, you can still be closing deals with customers looking to spend remaining 2016-17 dollars. At the same time, you can acquire leads for the 2017-18 sales cycle. In fact, what happens at ISTE could play a major role in jump-starting your 2017-18 sales.

Let us help you make ISTE count.

Based on two decades of experience at ISTE (and NECC), we’ve assembled a 18-page Preparedness Plan filled with practical and to-the-point guidelines for taking full advantage of the conference. You’ll learn:

  • Strategies to help you achieve your business goals before, during and after the conference.
  • Expert advice to craft your pitch to make a big impact, steps to take after the event to leverage your thought leadership, metrics for evaluating sponsorship opportunities, and tips for appearing on next year’s program.
  • Little-known insights you can use to make the most of your limited ISTE time – and perhaps also SETDA – while gaining maximum exposure for your company.
  • Which special events and parties to attend.
  • The best restaurants in San Antonio to entertain clients – or simply to unwind when your day is done.

Here are two tips, gratis: Arrive in San Antonio a bit early and attend ISTE Unplugged. It’s a great way to strike up relationships with educators. And check out the San Antonio Tourist blog for a local’s advice for exploring the historic city.
