As we settle into fall, it’s time to pack our bags as we head off to Denver for EdNET 2013, Sept. 22-24. This year’s theme is “Staying Nimble in an Evolving Market,” and the conference offers plenty of opportunities to learn how to do just that. Filled with networking events, keynote speakers, and sponsored by some of the brightest and best leaders in the education market, EdNET 2013 is a chance to learn about new trends, new ideas and new ways to conduct business. Below are some of the highlights you will want to see during the three-day conference. For a full list of events, take a look at the EdNET 2013 conference schedule.
Business Networking Forum (Sunday, Sept. 22)
EdNET is all about making connections, and the Business Networking Forum is your first chance to meet and greet other conference attendees. Introduce yourself and your organization with a brief 30-second introduction. Let other attendees know your objectives for the meeting and the kinds of contacts you want to make. Look for ways to help each other achieve your respective goals.
Business Opportunities Fair (Monday, Sept. 23)
Close out Monday by visiting with a wide array of companies exhibiting their products and services at the Business Opportunities Fair. It’s a chance to learn about new products, find new business partners, and discover new opportunities to boost your bottom line.
Birds-of-a-Feather Roundtable Sessions (Tuesday, Sept. 24)
With more than 20 different tables to choose from, this event has something for everyone. The roundtables are an opportunity to meet and dialogue with attendees on topics of mutual interest in a small group setting. Charlene will be joining Linda Winter of Winter Group to present, “Technology Is Changing Classrooms…And the Lives of Educators,” where they will explore the implications of these findings for education marketers. Check out the complete list of roundtable topics.
