Tech & Learning magazine recently announced the winners of its 27th Annual Awards of Excellence. The awards program recognizes software, hardware, network, and web products that bring something new and innovative to the industry, as well as those that add significant enhancements to proven educational tools. A panel of more than 30 educators chose the winners from more than 100 entries.
Entries were divided into two categories – New Products and Best Upgraded Products.
Among the winners in the New Products category were:
• Discovery Education Science for Elementary from Discovery Education
• In2Books from ePals, Inc.
• Sketchpad LessonLink from Key Curriculum Press
Winners in the Best Upgraded Products category included:
• Total Traffic Control from Lightspeed Systems
This year, for the first time, hardware and network/server-based products were considered for awards. The winners were recognized for their contribution to enhancing the classroom experience for students and educators, covering key areas such as network management and safety, communication, and differentiated learning.
